12.21.12 - I Carry Your Heart With Me

We painted a poster to send to the Sandy Hook School in Connecticut this week. It might not be able to change what happened but we want the Sandy Hook community to know that they are loved and cared for. We hold them and their lost loved ones in our hearts and send them love and healing. Thank you to the AMY students who helped out with their handprints, and painting skills. On that note, happy holidays and a LOVE-filled new year to all my wonderful AMY students, parents, and faculty. I am so grateful for each and every one of you!

Cycle 2: 8th Grade - Coil Basket Weaving

Right now the 8th graders are working on a basket-weaving project. This project is fairly time intensive (At least 4-5 weeks) and requires some patience, but its nothing our talented 8th grade artists can't handle!
